Student Solutions Manual (SSM)
The primary components of the almost 2,100 pages in the nine student solutions manuals are:
- Section Exercises – Detailed solutions of every other odd problem in every exercise set. The step-by-step detail is similar to the way examples are presented in the textbooks with helpful commentary where appropriate.
- Review Material – Detailed solutions to every odd problem in the chapter review material. The solutions can be used as a line-by-line verification that you are doing the problems correctly, or as an example to get you started on the next problem.
- An overview of all of the features of the book and summarizations of the topics in each of the sections.
- Tests – The 2 beginning algebra, the 2 intermediate algebra, and the advanced intermediate algebra books have chapter self-tests with detailed step-by-step solutions. These manuals are generally 200 to 300 pages in length, and provide a resource comparable to having an alternate version of the textbook.
- The Selected Topics Textbook does not have a SSM.
